Lectors proclaim the Word of God at the weekend and holy day Masses.  New lectors are always welcome and will receive training.  There is usually one lector per liturgy.  In the absence of a deacon, the lector will also read the Universal Prayer after the Creed. Both men and women including teens and young adults who are interested can contact the parish office.
